Yeah, umm......no.

I could not disagree more with this Hammond fellow about Jesus.

Within the Gospels themselves, where is there evidence of a "Warrior Jesus"?

What about "turn the other cheek" or "the meek shall inherit the earth" or the whole notion of Jesus as the "prince of PEACE"?

agree with you.

Warrior Messiah - there are/were Jewish sects (Zelots?) that believed the messiah would be a warrior that would overthrow the Roman's and reinstate Isral as a Jewish state. There are Gnostic gospels that portray Jesus as very non-peaceful and give a much more political/military role to his preaching. Of course these are not considered to be 'true' gospels.
